Dr.Gobith Ratnam

Gobith is a speciality trained General Practitioner, medical educator, and healthcare administrator with over 20 years of experience. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees across family medicine and allied health disciplines.

He holds several local and international appointments, including serving as an Executive Council Member of the College of General Practitioners of Sri Lanka and as a faculty member at the University of Jaffna. He also contributes as a primary care expert to the World Health Organization, the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), and MRCGP International (Southeast Asia).

Gobith’s expertise spans clinical practice, medical education, and healthcare leadership, with particular interests in noncommunicable diseases, aged care, and rural health.
