Dr. Vidya Prabhu

Raj  is an Emergency Physician at Northern Hospital, Melbourne, where he has practised since 2015 and has been Co-Director of Emergency Medicine since 2021. He is recognised as a dynamic, hands-on clinician who thrives in high-acuity environments, while also leading initiatives that strengthen education, innovation, and skill development within the Emergency Department.

Raj’s clinical interests include emergency ultrasound, regional anaesthesia, critical care and clinical education. Beyond clinical practice, he is deeply committed to registrar education and supervision, skills training, and building a culture where the ED is not only a place of acute care, but also a centre of ongoing learning and professional growth.
