Vajna is a senior General Practitioner with over 28 years of clinical experience across Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, and Australia. She is the CEO and Principal Practitioner of Sterling Health & Human Services Australia, leading a multi-site network of general practice, allied health, dental, specialist, women’s health, and aesthetics services across metropolitan and regional Victoria.

A recognised leader in women’s health, primary care innovation, and multidisciplinary practice development, Dr Vajna is deeply committed to preventive care, workforce training, and building sustainable healthcare models that strengthen community health and equitable access. She is actively involved in medical education, supervising GP registrars, international medical graduates, nurses, and allied health professionals, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and community engagement.
